This Privacy Policy explains how Nena Trucking INC ("Nena Trucking," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit drive4nena.com (the "Site") or submit information to us through the Site. It also serves as our notice at collection under applicable U.S. privacy laws.

By using the Site or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information through it.

The Site is operated by Nena Trucking INC, a trucking company operating from Westchester, Illinois, United States. Unlike a recruiting agency or job board, Nena Trucking is a motor carrier that directly hires Company Drivers and contracts with Owner-Operators and Lease-Purchase drivers to run our own freight. The Site allows prospective drivers to apply for open positions with us. We are the business responsible for the personal information collected through the Site.

Information you provide to us

When you complete a driver application or other form on the Site, or contact us through the chat widget, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Mailing address
• CDL license class and endorsement information
• Driving experience, driving record/violation history, and employment history
• Equipment or lease-purchase preferences (for Owner-Operator and Lease-Purchase applicants)
• Any other details you enter into our forms or send us through the chat widget

Information we collect automatically

When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, which may include your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 6.

Sources of information

We collect personal information from: (a) you directly, when you submit an application, use the chat widget, or contact us; and (b) your device and browser automatically as you use the Site.

Sensitive information

Because Nena Trucking directly hires and contracts drivers, certain information collected as part of the application and hiring process may be considered sensitive personal information under some state privacy laws — for example, your CDL/driver's license number and driving record, which we use to evaluate your qualifications and, where applicable, to obtain a motor vehicle record (MVR) as part of the hiring process. We do not intentionally collect other categories of sensitive information through the Site, such as Social Security numbers, financial account or payment card details, precise geolocation, health information, or biometric data, unless specifically requested later in the application or onboarding process (for example, for payroll direct deposit or a background check after a conditional offer). Please do not submit this kind of information to us through the Site unless we specifically request it.

Over the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act:

We use the information we collect to:

• Evaluate driver applications for Company Driver, Owner-Operator, and Lease-Purchase positions;
• Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your application;
• Contact you by email, phone, or text message about your application and our services (see Section 7);
• Send you marketing and promotional messages where you have consented, and allow you to opt out at any time;
• Verify driving qualifications, including obtaining a motor vehicle record (MVR), where applicable to the hiring process;
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• Measure and improve our advertising and marketing campaigns;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
• Comply with our legal obligations, including DOT/FMCSA requirements, and enforce our agreements.

We may also create de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and we may use and disclose it for any lawful purpose.

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and support our advertising. The tools we use include:

• Google Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use the Site. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of certain advertising cookies using the tools described in Section 13. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

When you submit a driver application or other form on the Site, you may authorize us to contact you by phone call and/or text message at the number you provide, including automated messages letting you know we've received your application. Depending on the form, your consent may cover informational/transactional messages, promotional messages, or both, and messages may be sent using automated technology.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask for help by replying HELP. Opting out of marketing messages will not necessarily stop transactional messages related to an application you have submitted.

No sharing of mobile opt-in data. The mobile information and SMS consent you provide through the Site are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This does not apply to service providers that help us deliver the messaging you have requested.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including providers who help us manage applications and communications, run motor vehicle record (MVR) and background checks, process payroll and owner-operator settlements, provide cargo/bobtail/occupational accident insurance in connection with Owner-Operator agreements, Google (analytics), and Meta (advertising). These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Regulatory and compliance. As a motor carrier, we may be required to disclose driver information to federal or state regulators, including the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), as part of our compliance obligations.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nena Trucking, our drivers, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your application information with other trucking companies — Nena Trucking is the carrier you would be driving for.

Separately, our use of advertising cookies and pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) may involve disclosing online identifiers to those platforms for advertising purposes. Some privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, define this activity as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To opt out of that advertising activity, you can:

• Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser or extension — where required by law, we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request;
• Use the industry opt-out tools listed in Section 13; or
• Email us at admin@drive4nena.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — including evaluating your application, maintaining our relationship with you as a driver or contractor, and pursuing legitimate business interests — and for as long as required to comply with our legal obligations (including DOT/FMCSA recordkeeping requirements) or resolve disputes. We do not apply a single fixed retention period to all information; instead, we retain it for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 12, and we will honor that request unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have the right to:

• Know / access what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you, and obtain a copy;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete your personal information;
• Opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and
• Non-discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

How to submit a request. Email us at admin@drive4nena.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, and we aim to respond within 45 days (with an extension where permitted by law). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Appeals. If we decline your request and the law in your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond as required by applicable law.

• Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing us.
• Text messages. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
• Cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
• Advertising. You can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and you can adjust ad settings within your Meta account.
• Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the GPC.

The Site is intended for individuals aged 21 and older, consistent with our minimum driver age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

The Site and our services are intended for users located in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any change means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
